The City in which I dont sleep

So...I had the pleasure of walking home from work, and found it to be quite therapeutic. Not only did I get to clear my head, but I also got a hell of a workout. You try walking from 17th street and 1st ave all the way to 107th street and Manhattan...LOL. I got to see things in a different light.

The buildings seemed taller, the birds seem to fly faster, the people seemed to multiply, the winds seemed to blow harder, the cold got colder..New York is very easy to take for granted. The things I see are things not most get to see. One minute I can see a thousand lights on Times Square and a second later I see a homeless person on the steps on a high end shoe store with a sign that read "Homeless Please spare nickels". Not just change but specifically nickels. Talk about humble.

The City is a puzzle and has many different pieces that dont always match and go together but they are all needed to be complete. Enjoy the pictures I was able to catch with my trusty Blackberry Ha ha.

Now. You know. I really like this post. Had inspiration in it. As well as tons of gratitude. It's hard to get a clear answer as to why NY is most definitely easy to dismiss as far as taking your time to observe it all. I'm definitely glad I took my time making love to it.

Need to see it in the summer tho.

My negro, your crackberry takes pretty nice pictures.

That's awesome, but even more important...

You "smelled the roses" today. Natural beauty and wonder is always found in moments like that and I'm glad you experienced that.
