The King of The Big Apple

With all the 2010 talk about LeBron coming to New York or is he staying in Cleveland, the question that comes to my mind is what sneakers will he be wearing? Truthfully, I love sports, I'm a big Basketball Fanatic, I love hearing the news, but when the repetitiveness about this Free Agency talk kicks in, it gets old. It's good to hear the speculations early, all the thoughts, but the 2 and 3 and 4 straight days of the same stuff just gets boring. When something new comes up, then that's a different story because it adds to the already Good Gossip. Athletes have the privilege of being pampered to the point where they can wear a different pair of sneakers every game if they wanted to (Michael Jordan is rumored to have done so). Along with the perks, they can also get their sneakers custom made, writing on them, personalized, custom colors. The NBA players do it for All Star Weekend. Tonight I focused on LeBron James. With his previous sneakers he had a New York colorway, and I assumed that he would do it again. So before tonight's game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and The New York Knicks, I figured he would wear something New York Influenced. Turned out, I was right...

Not only did James and the Cavs destroy the Knicks at home, but we lost Nate Robinson to a Groin strain, and LeBron had his way around the basket sporting His LeBron VI's "Big Apple" Edition. He was stated as saying "If you guys want to just fall asleep and not wake up 'till 2010, then do so, It'll be a special day". This was said after reporters kept asking him about his free agency coming up and if he was coming to the Knicks. He kind of left that up in the air with that thought, Will it be a special day because he is coming to NY? Who knows...wake me up in 2010.
