The Lakers are picking up steam and taking down everything in their way. The Rockets came into Staples Center with a 4-2 record, not too shabby after being proclaimed one of the teams to beat in the West. Well this was a test for both the LA and Houston. The Rockets actually came out firing, taking a first quarter lead as big as 18. The Lakers then took over and had control from the 2nd quarter on. Aaron Brooks off the bench dropped 20 and 4 assists, he was the pest, but the anchor to an early Rocket's lead. Yao Ming Carl Landry and Luis Scola all added 12 points a piece, but T-mac and newly acquired Ron Artest were cold from the field. Ice Cold. Then Showtime kicked in. Pau Gasol had 20 points and 15 rebounds, Kobe Bryant led with 23 points and Andrew Bynum had 13 and 7 and Jordan Farmar added 16 points and 6 assists. Once again Kobe didn't have to force shots, or take the load as the Lakers cruised to their 5 win of the season leaving them and the Atlanta Hawks as the only undefeated teams in the NBA. Lets go LAKERS!
