The New York Knicks smacked the Golden State Warriors. I couldve chosen any word to describe their performance against Golden State, but Smacked just seemed appropriate. The Warriors play Offense and it showed in this game. They lacked the defensive pressure necessary to stop a team when it counts and to win games. The Knicks had 82 points at Halftime. Most teams dont score 82 in a whole 4 quarter game. David Lee was a monster, probably the biggest player on the floor, he scored 37 points and grabbed 21 rebounds while newly acquired Al Harrington dropped 36 points and brought down 12 rebounds.
The talk of the night was Chris Duhon though, kid dropped 22 dimes, setting and breaking a Knicks assist record. He only had 12 points but the dimes were sufficient enough to earn him camera time after the game. What's most impressive about this is the fact that the Knicks scored 138 points, while just playing a 7 man rotation. If only they played with that heart and determination every game...Were on our way up though. The Knicks sit at .500 with an 8-8 record. Things cant get worse they can only get better. LETS GO KNICKS!!!
