The Big Aristotle

I've always been a fan of Shaquille O'neal...not so much of his outside endeavors...but his Basketball game has always interested me. His free throw shooting always perplexed me, but I learned he had a wrist injury years ago that left him kind of weary of his shooting. It's not like he doesn't try to shoot a better percentage, he does own a gym in his incredible crib in Florida. Besides being the most dominant center in NBA History (In my mind), despite him getting older, here and there you see glimpses of the Old Shaq. With his career winding down, he seems to just give you a little more every night. This year alone he has passed Dominique "Human Highlight Film" Wilkins, Oscar "Big O" Robertson, Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon, and Moses Malone to become the 5th All time Scorer in NBA History. I still feel he has a few more years left in him. The big fella never disappoints me. Here is a top 10 plays I found of him. Enjoy.

I can respect your opinion about Shaq, but I don't know, I just have never liked his game lol. Remember when dunking wasn't allowed, or was viewed as a form of disrespect to the opponent? Shaq would've been in trouble lol. If they banned dunking stats from the game, what would Shaq's career numbers be like. He just beats the ball in there lol. There's no grace really, more like beastiality. He's the "Rocky Balboa" of basketball. I recall the grace of Hakeem O., Ewing's killer fade away before his injury, Kareem's sky hook, man, these were some talented dudes w/ the ball. Personally, I won't miss him lol. I like his Bengay commercials though lol.

Wow...I thought I was reading an anonymous comment. Go back and watch Shaq's Orlando Days..the defense, theball handling skills for a man 7'2 360 pounds...when he wasnt dunking he was backing his opponent up and jump hooking a shot in...if no one can stop you, why shy away from what youre great at? Dunking the ball has always been a sign of "disrespect" when its on someone...Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James Dunk on people all the time, if they didnt have that they'd rely on other traits. Shaq if you take away his dunking, hes still an undeniable force..give him the ball he'll demand a double team, and that makes his teammates better. Ya..I win. Bye
