I remember buying that "Slim Shady LP" and hearing "My name is" and couldn't help but hate it and love it at the same time. It was corny. It began a trend in his CD's. Once new material was released the "corny" song was put out as the first single. But let me tell you...after that first single it was fire that was hitting the airwaves. Eminem himself claims that he's slacked in his previous albums, I'm a fan no matter what I always try to find the positive in an album no matter how misjudged and critiqued it was. When "Till I Collapse" came out...I felt gangster. Until this day that's one of my favorite Eminem songs ever. I miss his old rhymes but I've learned to appreciate his word play more now. Respect.
