The worst thing in sports is seeing your team "fail". Seeing every player you root for hang their heads. A dissapointing season for the Los Angeles Lakers is ten times worst than a dissapointing season for the Charlotte Bobcats. In L.A. you're expected to win Championships. If you don't win it all your whole season was wasted. I've learned to deal with that. This year was supposed to be different though. Kobe playing great, acquiring Nash and Dwight...Things were supposed to be exciting. From the beginning of the season things were bad. The injuries. The turnovers. The Head Coaching changes. The Only thing the Lakers were good at was the Drama. With Kobe in the last year of his contract it'll be hard to see him go after next season but I hope that it is an injury free one. I hope he retires on top the way he's meant to retire.
Whether Howard gets a max contract or moves on I think he played as well as he could've considering he was hurt for most of the season. Averaging a double-double and still making an impact was what he was brought in for. Hopefully he can take the summer to get healthy and then we can see his full potential. I'm not even sure what the point of this post is I just know I needed to get that off my chest. Good luck to the rest of the teams in the Playoffs. Till next season, LAALLDAY!
