Road to History

On the Lakers road to challenge the Bulls 1995-96 82-10 Record Season, they haven't really been given a challenging game. Until last night when the Dallas Mavericks came into the Staples Center and showed up ready to play. The game was close through out, Dallas took the lead in the 3rd quarter, but LA came into the 4th quarter with a run that put them in the lead and eventually held off the Dallas run. Kobe Bryant had a season high 35 points and 6 rebounds, Andrew Bynum had a Double- Double with 18pts and 10 boards. Pau Gasol added 14 points, 7 boards and 4 assists while Trevor Ariza, the spark off the bench scored 15 and grabbed 5 rebounds.

The Mavericks Jason Terry had a team high 29 points and dished out 5 assists while Dirk Nowitzki had 19 and grabbed 12 rebounds. They played a great game, but Kobe and the Lakers were able to hold them off making clutch shots and even more clutch plays that held off the Dallas attack. The Lakers improve now to 13-1 in the season while the Mavericks fall to 7-8 in their early season. Let's go LAKERS!!!
