It's really funny how as much as time and people change things don't really change that much at all. This article and cover was published back in the '90's and it's still very much so relevant now. You don't really hear or see it being done much in the present time but that doesn't mean it doesn't still go on. The sneaker culture has evolved to be a very wealthy industry not to mention sometimes hectic profession. The fact that you can miss out on a pair of sneakers that would've cost you $150-$175 and then you have people charging you double and triple that when they sell out everywhere just shows you how far the sneaker game has come. This article is very informative and goes in depth as to who is at blame. At the end of the day it's a "who came first the chicken or the egg" debate.
