Part Two: La Isla del Encanto.

People who live in New York and say they are from Puerto Rico kind of give the island a bad name. The Puerto Ricans you find here in the city are, for lack of a better word, idiots. They make the nice Puerto Ricans from Puerto Rico look like saints. Enough with that, I wanted to wait until I got back to my regular routine to be able to write this because it really made me realize how much EVERYONE needs time off.

I've only been at work for three days and I already miss everything that comes with having time off. Of course not every one can fly and get away but when you can, enjoy every second of it. I sure did. We went sightseeing, we went bar hopping (something I don't even do in N.Y.) and we even drove around so much that I feel I already know how to get around when I do visit again. The whole experience was ridiculously fulfilling.

If I could go back and do it all over again, I would. Without a hesitation. There was a balance between fun and rest that I haven't really had while on vacation and it felt great. We got to see "Old San Juan" which was absolutely amazing. The town or whatever they call it was just like it was in the old days. They do have a lot and I do mean a lot of tourist-like shops and such. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. All in all Puerto Rico was a success.
