NBA Opening Night: LA Clippers vs LA Lakers

Everyone says Xavier Henry is a "surprise". I'm sure he is considering the route he's had as of recently. He's finally getting a chance to showcase what he is capable of. I'm not saying he's going to be the savior for the Lakers but it's good to see someone stepping up. Actually, it's GREAT to see everyone stepping up. The Lakers bench outscored The Clippers bench by 20+ points not to mention out rebounding them 64-49. Everyone contributed which is the best part of this win. Jordan Farmar was clutch towards the end of the game with a few baskets to help seal the game. Not to mention the Lakers 3 point shooting which kept them in the game. Meeks, Blake, Henry and Johnson all made some huge shots to help take this one from the Clippers. The Staples Center crowd was loving it and so was I. When your favorite team's star player is out, you see what everyone else can do. The Lakers play Golden State tonight as part of their first back-to-back of the season. Can't wait. Basketball is back. Lets go Lakers!
